about the program
Blending the unique approach of fun and focus, our experienced staff breaks down all of the essential skills of volleyball. Our athletes are broken into skill range groups and the mechanics of the game are taught at their speed.
HVA YOUTH program is a COED Program. Typically, there are more girls than boys that train. However, recently, we’ve seen many more boys coming into the program as they’ve heard about our recording-setting championship boys team program (starting at age 11).
So, we are excited to announce that, while our youth program will remain coed at all sites, we have added one night each session for a Boys-Only Youth Program called Space Rangers.

Youth Elite Add-On
FALL-1 2026
Come join the Youth Program’s ELITE TEAM!
For more than 10 years, parents in our YOUTH program have been asking us to add more opportunities to PLAY IN TOURNAMENT PLAY. Our standard program offers one mini-tourney once per month through an assisted method of entry level play. Parents have been looking for that NEXT LEVEL tournament play opportunity. Our “Train and Play” option, over the past few years, added 1 hour per week where interested players could stay after training for an hour and enjoy open play. Now, it’s time for a true NEXT LEVEL opportunity that fills the need gap.
HVA is now upgrading the Train and Play option to a brand-new YOUTH TEAM PROGRAM, named HVA YOUTH ELITE.
Below are the features of the new program that will be available to anyone registered in our HVA YOUTH program, as a NEXT LEVEL upgrade:
*NOTE you must also be enrolled in any 2026 SPRING YOUTH session to participate in YOUTH ELITE.
- TEAM PRACTICE: 1 hour YOUTH ELITE TEAM PRACTICE per week for 8 weeks
- Select which YOUTH ELITE weekly practice day/location that fits your family: (example: you could attend YOUTH training on Tuesday and then YOUTH ELITE TEAM practice on the same night or another night to split it up, based on your schedule.)

Our intention in offering you this new program is 2-fold:
- Move our YOUTH ATHLETES beyond training-only model into a TEAM BASED program to accelerate their growth into the Club Volleyball and School Volleyball skillsets
- Deliver on a promise made to parents that we will give them the long-sought-for PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES for their athletes!
Finally, we want to make this un-complicated for you to be able to add. So, we simply added it to your regular HVA YOUTH Training registration.
