GIRLS club team tryouts
Each year we offer group tryouts in the summer as well as private evaluation tryouts throughout the year in order to fill in open positions remaining on any of our teams. This year is no different. We will accept tryout applications as long as we have positions open. There is a non-refundable fee to register for the tryout to cover our costs.
Bellaire Tryout Schedule
2026-27 Season
All players who try out are required to submit uniform sizes.
Plan to arrive 1/2 hour before your scheduled tryout if you have not physically tried on new uniforms this summer.

These will be held @ The PAC Gym – 14724 Almeda School Rd, Houston 77047 for players across all age divisions looking to be placed on a team at any of HVA’s locations.

What to Expect at Tryouts
- Check-In and Tryout Shirt Distribution — In the Lobby and Court-Side
- Uniform Fitting** — In the Lobby and Court-Side
- Athlete Warm-Up — On-Court
- Athlete Tryout — On-Court
- Parent Meeting* — In the Lobby
- Athlete Cool Down/Stretch — On-Court
- Tryout Close & Dismissal — On-Court
* One parent per athlete required
** All athletes that tryout will be fitted for uniforms whether offered a position or not
What should i bring to tryouts?
- Parent or Guardian
- Water
- Knee pads
- Court appropriate shoes
- $650 deposit will be required to secure your position if you are selected. In that case, the deposit link will be emailed to you as part of your offer letter.

How will i be evaluated as an athlete?
All athletes will be evaluated for athleticism, volleyball skillset acumen, volleyball IQ, & coachability. After the tryout, you will receive your tryout results and be provided with an offer to join our program commensurate with your assessed skill level.
