PROGRAM BACKGROUND
Why HVA BEACH?
HVA Beach has firmly established itself nationally over the span of many years. Our athletes have been selected by USA Volleyball for many years to compete among the elite in the nation and the world. Simply put, there are no other boys beach clubs that compete with our athletes and training programs over the past 8 years.
Our teams have gone on to win various USA Volleyball National Championships many times in various age groups. Our HVA Beach athletes have competed at the USA Volleyball Beach High Performance Championships as members of the top A1 training teams and have won several Gold Medals. Some of our top athletes have gone on to represent the USA, internationally, at World Championships.
While many volleyball clubs are just getting interested and involved with the Beach game, we have a proud history and strong track record of developing champions. Looking to be the best? Come train with the best!

BOYS BEACH DETAILS
BOYS BEACH TRAINING
We are partnering with Third Coast Juniors in providing a fantastic level of beach volleyball instruction. This is the perfect place for a player that's either brand new to beach volleyball or has not been competing in serious beach volleyball competitions yet. Players will be grouped by skill level and their training regimen will be tailored to elevate their game from that point until they are ready for promotion into our ELITE BEACH program.
This program will train beach skills techniques and strategies to ensure success on the beach.
This program is offered in the Fall and Spring.
BOYS ELITE BEACH TRAINING
The Elite BPT Program:
Those athletes wishing to take the beach performance to the next level will try out for our Beach Performance teams that seek to take their skills to national beach events and to even play beach volleyball at the national and international levels.
This will be a very small and selective group of boys (16 Maximum) who are promoted up through our BOYS BEACH TRAINING or who participated in our Elite teams last year.
Our HVA Coaches will select and pair the teams and work with each pairing to set up their tailored event schedule.
This program will train beach skills techniques and strategies to ensure success on the beach. This program will train at the top beach complex in Texas, Third Coast VBC, weekly and set up an aggressive tournament schedule that will seek national tournament bids in the USA Volleyball and AVP systems.
You BPT coaches will send your team to several practice tournaments and will accompany you to the qualifiers and national championships, for those that qualify.
Our BPT athletes will train with our well-known beach coaching staff alongside dedicated beach volleyball athletes and adult amateurs with NCAA Division I, AVP, Semi-Pro, and international experience.
This program is offered in the Fall and Spring.
GIRLS BEACH DETAILS
WHY BEACH FOR NEXT-LEVEL TRAINING?
Over the years, HVA became aware that training our indoor club male athletes on the beach courts, in much smaller numbers, turns out to be a significant accelerator to their learning curve. In fact, shortly after HVA Boys club made this move for its higher level club players, our players began making very large strides in their indoor game. As you may know, the HVA Boys club program is the highest performing boys club in TX, LA, NM, and OK. Eventually, several of these players moved into USA Beach National programs and indoor college mens programs. We haven’t looked back since.
For several years, Sean and Eric have been working for the day when we could offer this type of programming to our Girls indoor club athletes. Well, the time has finally come! We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with the top beach volleyball club in Texas (3rd Coast Volleyball Club) to bring you’re a tailored training program to elevate your indoor skills and accelerate your vb learning curve. By adding this training to your club training, you will be able to speed up the pace of your learning to impact your level of play this season, and certainly beyond.
Please know that you do not need to know ANYTHING about beach volleyball whatsoever. This next-level training approach will employ much of the same indoor concepts that you are already familiar with, albeit on a different surface. Of course, you’ll also pick up new beach volleyball concepts as a bonus.
This Program is offered exclusively in the Spring and is only available to our indoor club girls.
